Gary Pike, APR, President

Gary Pike's twenty-five years of experience as a marketing communications specialist results in producing distinctive programs that show a commitment to quality, innovation and effectiveness. He founded Pike & Company in 1983 and now represents a number of well-respected corporate clients from the Bay area, across the country and throughout the world.

Special Awards

Pike has been an active member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and served as Chair of Small Business Council. He graduated from the Chamber's 1989 Leadership San Francisco Program and served on the Chamber's Board of Directors from 1988 to 1992. In 1989 the Chamber recognized his outstanding business achievement by awarding him Entrepreneur of the Year in the one to five employee category.

Experience

He developed a number of creative business development programs matching small, minority and women owned businesses with large corporations. Programs included the Chamber Fair, Procurement Workshops and a formalized business awards program for Women Entrepreneur of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year.

    Education and Credentials

    Gary Pike holds two degrees, a B.A. in Communications and a B.S. in Resource Management, from California
    State University, Sacramento. Pike is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America,
    and served as president of the San Francisco chapter in 1996.
